Whistler and Whistler Village

Whistler Village is a purpose-built, pedestrian-only town at the foot of Whistler Blackcomb, the largest ski area in North America, 120 km north of Vancouver along the Coast Mountains. The PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola, built to link the two mountains for skiers, keeps running through summer purely for the view. Outside ski season the appeal shifts to bike park runs, the 40 km Valley Trail, and around 50 black bears grazing the slopes from May to October.
